In midday trading Tuesday, precious metals shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 4%. Leading the group were shares of Rare Element Resources Limited , up about 23% and shares of Paramount Gold and Silver up about 12.1% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are agriculture & farm products shares, up on the day by about 3.4% as a group, led by Origin Agritech Limited ( SEED – news – people ) , trading up by about 12.1% and LE Gaga Holdings Limited, trading up by about 2% on Tuesday.
