How to Build A Child’s Backhoe
You’ve seen these backhoes for small children in catalogs, usually priced around $99.99 to $169.99. Here’s a plan to build one yourself for about fifteen dollars.
The temptation to build one out of 1.5″ pipe and counterweight it for adult use should be discouraged.
Suggest substituting 1″ square tube wherever you can instead of EMT. It is MUCH stronger.
